Wanaka and its surrounds are experiencing rapid growth, which can make it challenging to find skilled tradespeople available to nail the smaller stuff.
That’s where Kings Home Improvement Ltd comes in.
Established in 2018, Kings Home Improvement Ltd began with a unique concept
- a converted "Milk Truck" serving as a mobile workshop. Since then, we’ve been
committed to delivering practical, reliable solutions for a wide range of odd jobs
and home improvement needs.
Meet Stuart King
With over 20 years of experience across local trades, Stuart King has built an impressive reputation for delivering quality and efficient work. He is the home improvement expert of choice for many of your neighbours and plenty of local businesses...
You may recognise him from an 8-year stint as an EMT with St John, or his break away to join the NZ Police force, both in Queenstown Lakes.
When not collecting skills, assisting the community or enjoying our region with his young family, you can be sure Stuart can be trusted with your biggest asset, and that his hand-picked team of local specialists are all insured, competent and
respectful members of our community.
.
If you own or manage a property in this beautiful part of the country and would like help to improve it, inside and out, you have come to the right place.
Your odd jobs are our speciality.

TESTIMONIALS
Great eye for detail and harder working than anyone I know. Can highly recommend Stu's services to anyone.
- Chris Nielsen.
Stu has done a couple of odd jobs for us around our home. He is extremely easy-going, fast and reasonable. And he made some great suggestions to use our space differently. Thanks, Stu.
- Rachael Chapman
Stu and his team were great!
We had a lot of work done through these guys and the workmanship, quality of work and the time it took to get things done…was simply outstanding!
From installing acupanels, fencing & gates, washing lines, firewood covers, to little things like mirrors, hooks, artwork & decorations…etc
Our neighbours have already started lining up to get the same quality service from these guys.
Thank you, Stu & team! We love your work and will continue to work with you guys.
- Tommy Jackel
Stu is friendly, accommodating, very approachable and a top-notch tradesman.
A perfectionist in everything he does. Highly recommend him.
- Helen Rule
Solved all our ongoing leaks and problems after a new build, cheerfully with a no problem attitude. Totally excellent job.
- Marilyn Barlow
